LZ Information
Location/Description: Ground pad NW side of hospital located on island point. Aeromed 1 base. two spots available. "Bravo" marked with "B 36", "Hotel" marked with "H" and cross. Pads are next to the river. "Bravo" or B pad is usually reserved for transient aircraft. Dispatch can relay patient information to the appropriate department by calling in on air secondary VHF or by using UNICOM on 122.825. Patient transports will go through gate on south side then across the loading dock area to the double doors which access the elevators to the ED, 2nd Floor. All other floors require an escort and are badge access only. 2nd floor ED does not require badge access.
Hazards: Building east of pad. Use caution of watercraft in river next to pad. TGH Aeromed-1 aircraft remains on pad when not on active flight. Aircraft is on the northern most pad. Pirate ship docked across the river on most days with tall masts. Tall buildings in the area, tallest obstacle 630 ft.
