| Hazards: | On approach you’ll have two 338’ MSL towers off to your left. They are out in the country south of the town of Onancock. North of the hospital is a private grass airfield. This is the alternate landing site designated AC9. It is not an active field. East of the hospital is US Route 13 and a strip mall. It looks clear of towers and other obstructions. South of the hospital approximately 1 mile or so is a large tower along the highway. Accomack County airport is also south of the hospital. The airport looks similar in activity to many GA airports. They report 38 movements per day, 5-6 IFR movements. Aircraft range from Cessna citation jets down to Cessna 172’s.
